Is there a way to increase dst memory?

I have no idea if it is relevant for you, but here is what I find effective in fighting lag (because I assume this is what you mean):

- rolling a small world, but with an accelerated world regrowth rate

- disabling frog rain

- less rain and lightning (mind you, it adds more challenge for farmers and WX-87 users)

- tumbleweeds no more than default

- a computer with a good amount of RAM (I run DST on three machines: 8, 16 and 32 GB - imagine the differences) and a regularly-defragmented disc

- innecessary programs disabled during gameplay (the first thing to do, but most people forget about it)

- No More Lags for clients: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=367593872

- Less Lags for host: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=597417408

Not everything is applicable to caves, but I hope it can give you a general idea. Fingers crossed!

hmmmmm...i dont have issue with the lag,its more of im trying to add more mods to a cave server but it keeps prompting me with "Don't starve together has ran out of memory and must shut down" even though i have over 8 GB free of memory.im just trying to add more mods so me and my friend can have a better experience on the game.

that might be a mod doing that, when a mod has an issue sending data from client to server, it creates a memory leak and gives you that message. check your server/client log and check if any mod is causing it.
