Gingerbread Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi guys, recently I was having trouble with displaying world settings in the lobby. When log.txt file got this warning down below, this "world unknown" warning appears in the lobby. Quote WARNING: Failed to cache WorldGen data for server listing. Data size (5732) exceeded max length (5120. I asked to BoomBoxBeat about the issue and he told me to comment out unnecessary parts of the worldgenoverride.lua of the caves. After that I regenerated the world (via "c_regenerateworld()" command) couple of times and now world settings can be seen in the lobby for my servers. Giving my sample caves worldgenoverride.lua in case anyone needs. Cheers... Unneeded is the caves stuff if you are going to use "default" or "classic" task_set (location: forest). Unneeded is the overworld stuff if you are going to use "cave_default" task_set (location: cave). The stuff commented with red -- in the OP is overworld stuff. There's no dragonfly in caves. If you have something that's going to set a default, you can also comment it out. Some people leave it (but not commented) for reference. The problem here is that leaving so much stuff for reference causes an error because the game tries to save all the pointless data. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
