Make the Luxery (golden) pickfork

Recommended Posts

I believe anyone Don't Starve player that has had a long term save would agree that a gold pitch fork would only benefit them. As reconstruction of worlds for base build in tail large amounts of turf to be moved they require an annoying amount of flint pitchforks to be consumed. As it being in the late game the resources are not the problem, but rather the experience of carrying so many pitchforks with a limited use or even having to carry flint to create the needed set of tools that is required for base building.

In full golden pitchforks has no downsides and is questioned why it is not in the game currently

We can make Don't Starve great again!

Not really tbh

A normal Pitchfork has 200 uses or you can dig up 200 tiles of turf.

Considering how few Flint 1 Pitchfork really needs it's probably the best tool in terms of Flint to Use ratio because 1 pitchfork will last a long time. Heck in most of my games i never burn through more then 2 Pitchforks when making a base what means 400 tiles of dug up turf. Really the only thing annoying about moving turf is the fact that it only stacks up to 10 meaning you actually have to move back and forth if you want to get a specific type of turf for your base or remove a lot of turf you don't need.

I want a golden pitchfork because the flint one makes me feel like a peasant. It could be the equivalent of diamond hoes in Minecraft: swag, but only because they're useless.

Same goes for the razor too. Wilson could even comment on how it's entirely useless.

'if it's gold, then I'm sold!'

Haha nah, Pitchfork is fine how it is imo.

Though this would be pretty hilarious.
