Change the Iron Wind's recipe

Now the iron wind is crafted with: 1 Turbine Blades, 1 Electrical Doodad and 2 gold nugget.

My sugestion is change the electrical doodad for 5~10 gears, so it will give more use for that huge amout of gears the Floaty Boaty Knight drop and it will make more sense because the iron wind seems to be a kind of engine(mecanical device)  and the eletric doodads seems to be for electrical/eletronics uses.

If you think I'm trying to make the recipe easier by decreasing the amount of gold needed, you can raise the gold needed in the final recipe by adding 2 more gold nuggets.

Perhaps 1 Turbine Blades, 2 Electrical Doodads, 4 gears?

But I think in general the Chess Navy needs its cooldown increased; currently it's 7.5-10 days, it should probably be somewhere around 20 days. Maybe even have it increase the cooldown if you're killing them a lot. As it stands, it seems like they're designed to be a threat, but really they're just a fountain of gears, as you often don't get hit at all while killing them.

In my WX world I literally live off gears, carrying around a 40 stack.

Before you go there you have to pick to between 2 assumptions:

  1. The situation with gears and the knights spawning won't change
  2. The situation with gears will change

I personally don't see why they wouldn't fix that. I think we all don't need that many gears. I need 2 for my 2 ice boxes. There's nothing else that I use the gears for. If iron wind was changed to cost gears, whatever the amount, it would result in it costing the same as before since gears don't have value right now or it wouldn't be possible to have until someone spawned enough of the knights.

What we need is fixed amount of gears that we can find more easily and reduced "income" of gears. So there should be chess pieces in water or on land and then reduce the amount of gears dropped from 4 to 1. 3 gears after killing those floaty knights is enough in my opinion anyways, unless they do plan to make something that consumes a lot of gears.

This is why I put the maximum amount in 10 gears (could be more), if You find the portal, you can easily have 12 gears, like one stated before, 2 is suficient to make 2 ice boxes. In the RoG we have the insuleted pack that needs 3 gears to be crafted, and other good recipes to consume the gears.

In SW you only have 2 really userful recipes: Ice box and the Ice flingomatic. 2 ice box is enough, and 3 ice flingomatic too, if you have a huge camp with many things that you want to stay wet, in a total of 8 gears spent. Killing all the FBK of the portal (I think it's 3 or 4), without losing any health and any effort you can get many gears and some will remain in your chest...
