Wet Season May Have Been Nerfed Too Hard

Recommended Posts

When I first saw Wet Season I thought it was meant to be 1 huge storm with all the things you can find in one(Huge waves, lightnings, lots of rain, hail, winds), and the whole mechanic of Hail bouncing around was cool(Though in its execution it was pretty OP).

However post nerf...its spring. With some minor wind and big waves, but spring. Hail is not even an annoyance, the wind isnt that strong, and that leaves it as just Spring.

I really hope Hail gets buffed up again or something at least.

With wet season are you talking about monsoon season or hurricane season?

Also hail will probably get the damage back in the future, It's just that it was buggy and absolutely destroyed the player and playermade structures when sliding

Yeah thats what I think will happen, I just wanted to bring my opinion haha.

They can also make something you can make to cause hail in general deal less damage to structures, and make it so that you cant just easily put it all over your base.

Wet = Hurricane = Winter; this is when it gets really stormy, with lots of lightning, wind, and hail

Green = Monsoon = Spring; this is when it's pretty calm, but floods everywhere

It sounds like you're getting those confused a bit. They seem quite distinct to me-- the main issue in Monsoon is the flooding, and the main issue in Hurricane is the wind and lightning.

Hurricane got both buffs and nerfs-- hail is now pretty useless, so that's a buff to the season, but no longer destroys walls, which makes it a nerf. To be honest, though, I haven't noticed much, if any difference in difficulty. Walls were always more decorative than functional, but losing decoration doesn't make things harder unless you're hell-bent on maintaining them.

They are similar in the way that there is non stop rain.

To me it feels like Hurricane Season is spring, I know it isnt haha.

Also it doesnt go really stormy. It feels like Spring's rains with lightning, and the addition of wind. Hail shouldn't even be considered a thing at its current state

It always gets very stormy for me, with lightning every 5 seconds or so.

It might just be me in that aspect at least, since once I build a lightning rod I seriously ignore lightnings haha.
