It started hailing and I was pretty low on hunger so I started collecting them for ice to eat. As I picked them up, I got quite a bit of damage, then my inventory was full (not hail but other random things) and I dropped the hail. Dead. Never play with hail kids, it's deadly... I'm not quite sure how much damage I got, but when I started picking the hail up, I was at 74 health. I think this might be a bug, with the hail never being registered 'being on the ground' or something like that. It really made me go mad for a second or two, so please, for the kids, fix it? That was an excellent guess. And yeah, the bug-fix mod takes care of this.
