Trees, Coal and Pine Cones

I've noticed that when you burn trees, regardless of the size, you only get 1 pc. of coal. I've been playing Don't Starve for a while but stopped and returned when they released Shipwrecked and I do remember that in vanilla and ROG, bigger trees give you more coal. Did something change or is this something that needs to be fixed in Shipwrecked?  

 

Another thing is that burnt trees don't give pine cones anymore, I think that should be changed. 

 

And don't you think Jungle tree seeds should look less like pine cones and should look like something else. I don't know what exactly, just something that isn't pine cone looking. XD

Huh... whenever I burn forests, half (though most of the time a little bit less) of the trees usually drop pine cones, and some also drop 1 more piece of charcoal as well...

Also, heh, I like the jungle tree pines, you can almoat hear the snakes inside them xP

hmm... I've been burning trees which I planted (10-20 trees at a time) and I burn them when they get to max size and I still get 1 piece of coal.

Actually, on Don't Starve Together when you break a full grown tree there's a chance of droping 1 adicional charcoal. Also, when a tree tranforms into a burnt tree there's a chance of droping one charcoal.

 

On the vanilla and RoG this doesn't happen.
