Ackzay
I haven't heard but has anyone from klei/capy mentioned tweaking the obsidian tools and weapons?I would love to have tools (axe, machete, SHOVEL, PITCHFORK, and PICKAXE) that last for 400 uses. I'd gladly spend my summers trawling for obsidian to make those tools.Same goes for the weapons. Instantly igniting enemies isn't useful. Although, if the weapons got a 50% dmg boost then I would once again gladly dedicate time to get obsidian. As it stands now the only good use for obsidian is the armor and firepit. Not to mention wicker's new book. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/61443-obsidian-toolsweapons/ Share on other sites
Cyde042
Agreed, I would rather have the tools be more efficient(could give double yield or perform actions faster) and have more durability. The enemy ignition can lead to unwanted forest fires. t0panka
Well they obviously have some other use with features that are not in game ... probably lava caves but it would be more logical in "frozen caves" to use these tools ... anyway we have to wait for updates .) julz1981
They are meant to be used in arrid biomes or during monsoon season since nothing will catch fire then.
