Suggestion: Characters Pooping.

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I know, most disgusting title ever, I totally agree, but bear with me, it will make sense... After having played lots of ARK: Survival Evolved I have come away with the realisation that there is a thing missing in most other survival games that have farming... Poop! Or rather, your poop. Such an obvious thing we all take for granted, we poop, and it is just as well a fertiliser as that of any cow. And now that we are stuck on an archipelago where it is up to chance if you find monkeys or ox to fertilise our crops, maybe letting our characters poop once in a while wouldn't go amiss? :wilson_lightbulb:

I kinda agree with the idea, but how would it be implemented? Out of nowhere, your character just drops his/her pants and takes a steamy dump on the floor?

OH MY GOODNESS have you never heard of outhouses? (My inner Wickerbottom interceding there...)

I would love if they made you poop rocks if you were on low sainty, thus making you literally... **** bricks.

Nope.

NOPE

What, something wrong with dinosaur survival games?

The mod I mentioned (link here btw) handles it by inducing poop when the hunger bar reaches "full", making it, more or less, under the player's control. ;)

That sounds like an elegant solution to the problem of when it would happen.

(weird, how did I end up with two posts merged into one? :S)

Getting manure in SW is actually pretty easy. Just piss off the monkeys or hammer their nests. And there is also feeding flowers to the pigs.

Sure, but then you got smacked up the head with insanity inducing poop. And for some reason I have not run into pigs on 4 different runs now.

Bwahahaha!

From that mod's description, "They will also eat each other's poop! (Unless it's gears or marble.) So that way you have to race the rockies to get the minerals."

This does not sound like a healthy ecosystem...
