After having played lots of ARK: Survival Evolved I have come away with the realisation that there is a thing missing in most other survival games that have farming... Poop! Or rather, your poop. Such an obvious thing we all take for granted, we poop, and it is just as well a fertiliser as that of any cow. And now that we are stuck on an archipelago where it is up to chance if you find monkeys or ox to fertilise our crops, maybe letting our characters poop once in a while wouldn't go amiss? And there is also feeding flowers to the pigs. From that mod's description, "They will also eat each other's poop! (Unless it's gears or marble.) So that way you have to race the rockies to get the minerals."
