Right now, we must look at alot of the original codes try to understand it and try to figure out all the path that its taking. It's kinda hard :/ Just a suggestion. Though their code is quite well organised and it's fairly easy to find how to do something when you have a bit of experience. Like everything, it needs a bit of dedication at first You can also find a lot of useful info on their sample mod showing the different function they made especially for modders.
