Since I apparently cannot eat him, I am curious what other purpose he might serve. I don't have the reeds to make a bird cage quite yet- has anyone caged this magnificent foul-mouthed specimen? I managed to knock one down with one of the darts dropped by the swamp monsters, and picked it up. When I left clicked it in my inventory, it just disappeared. I thought maybe I could catch a pirate parrot specifically by baiting the trap with doubloons, but it didn't work. Must try it with console, because i have the feeling that Shipwrecked is faar from being balanced xD If you survive winter (wich i never did) the hard things get started even more brutally ! And it's called something else in Shipwrecked. Something parrot or piratey. If placed in bird cage he seems to have no hat. ....and it seems like he becomes normal parrot after you save and load the game, bug?
