"YOU FIRST" screamed Thomas, as he pushed the rock through the portal.

Thomas took a deep breath, picked up his rock pal, and slowly walked through the portal. The walk eventually turned into a semi-sprint, as he was running through a burning forest carrying a heavy rock. He held his breath for as long as he could, hoping he would eventually see an exit.

Of course Thomas caught on fire shortly after exiting the portal and he started screaming rather loudly. But the he saw something amazing. A small pond. Panicked, he set the rock down and immediately jumped into the pond. He started sinking. Eventually he sunk down to what felt like one hundred fish. He was severely disgusted and immediately swam back up. He got out of the pond, grabbed his rock friend, and began semi-sprinting again.

"Quick, Child! Almost there!" The rock did it's best to encourage Thomas, who was almost out of the woods. He could just barely see the outline of a small village just ahead.

"Be prepared to fight!"

"We can't just sit around anymore." Judas stood up. "Every passing moment our way home gets further and further. How much longer will she be asleep?"

Thomas would of stopped at the mention of fighting if he wasn't currently in a burning forest, so instead he just screamed it out loud. "WAIT WHAT?!? FIGHTING?!?" He certainly didn't want to fight, and even if he had to, he wasn't good at fighting at all.

(I already tire(sas) of this fight scene.)

The villagers groaned as the goo was either dissolved or destroyed. The beings who were still human-esque let out some ungodly hiss and began to retreat.

The Illustrator looked at Mina. "I can speed this up, if you'd like..."

(Pretty sure the issue here is that these goop villagers are completely unthreatening. Even if they morph into big ass goop creature there's a shadowy superbug thing and a robomage and an all knowing old guy. It's the unbeatable trio.)

Tiresias nodded in agreement. "Yes. Well done." The forest was beginning to turn to ash as the flames continued purging the thicket.

Thomas emerged from the forest and tripped on what looked like mister rock's cousin, and he landed on his face into the land of meanwhile. Right in front of what looked like Some sort of horrible shadow monster.

Oh yeah, his rock friend landed in a comfortable patch of grass.

(Sorry I confused Vislag with the face of death. It's fixed now)

When Thomas looked up, he immediately thought that it was a great idea to run back into the burning forest. He couldn't move though, he was frozen in fear. He just kept staring at Vislag while saying "Uhhhhhhhh"

"My pleasure."

"N-no....thank you, i've got this....I just need a moment to-....!!!!!!!....NGH!...."

As soon as Lefay had finished the amulet, a jot of pain struck her. She dropped the amulet, and put her hands up to her head. Memories started to flood back. Dark, malevolent hands. Strange whispers. Whispers of a dark destiny.

In an expertly swift motion, Judas dived under Lefay and narrowly caught the amulet moments before it would've hit the ground and probably been perfectly fine anyway.

"Do not fear him. He may look ill-intented, and act ill-intented, yet he will not harm you.

For now...

But, speak to the old man. He is the one who knows of the way out of this accursed abyss."

Strangely, Thomas was the only one who could hear the rock talking.

Tiresias glanced at Thomas, uninterested. "That's where we're headed now. Stick around, and you'll get to the way out."

The villager looked up at Vilsig, still lacking in humanity. "You... Must... Die..." He hissed, reaching up in a pitiful attempt to grab at Vilsig.
