vihar1
Dear Community, how can I install Steam workshop mods for the GoG version of the game? I am very sad to see that some of my favourite mods are not available for download here... JanH
If purchased from GoG.com, you are playing the standalone/DRM-free version of Don't Starve. For this version, you will be able to download mods directly from our community forums. Mobbstar
It's a tiny bit shady, but this may just be what you need. Don't download more than once a week, no more than 5mb, or you'll download more than intended and find yourself in the middle of the DRM-scene. And then you'll end up stealing from your grandma to fund their greenlights. However, when I copy the files to the mod folder, they appear in the mod list but as "crashed". When I try to enable them, it says "to be disabled" Same behaviour when I manually copy-paste from Steam game folder to GoG game folder. Now it is updated and I just copied the mods folder over and works flawlessly!Thank you for the tips!
