renojustin Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 So I was playing with my girlfriend, enjoying the game, when I planed a Lureplant near some water. The sudden appearance of the lureplant bulb knocked me off into the ocean, and I was unable to get up again. Even using console commands c_gonext and c_move would only transfer me to a location until I moved again, at which point it would put me right back into the ocean. Totally broken, and we had to restart this game. Habberdash Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Perhaps you should gather more information before ranting on the WRONG subforum and calling the game bad "even for a beta". I don't think too many people will be happy about that, there's a difference between criticism and disrespect. Also, we might be more inclined to actually help you and your girlfriend with the game if you had A)Posted in the right subforum, and B) Not openly disrespected the game for a simple bug. Developer bizziboi Posted July 13, 2015 Developer Share Posted July 13, 2015 @renojustin, I am guessing your girlfriend hosted the server, thus gonext didn't really work. It would move you client-side but the server had no awareness, so as soon as you moved there would be communication with the server and the server would reposition you to the 'correct' location. If your girlfriend adds you as an administrator you should be able to do remote commands and thus make gonext work.
