Would it be too much to ask for?

In my mind a purple mushroom is rare species of the fungi clan. It is vibrant purple with some spots (idk what color) and can be found at any time of day (idk about any time of year though). Picking gets one and digging gets 2 as perusal but if you dig you cannot get it from that spot again.

When eaten raw;

+15 hunger
+15 health
AND your character goes on a 'trip' (completely insane) for 90 seconds long. During the trip you act as if your sanity is 0 but in reality it doesn't change at all (the brain rots but the orange part doesn't go down.) There will be 1 terror beak and 4 crawling horrors as soon as you eat it and they respawn after 10 seconds. This means that there will almost consistently be 4 crawling horrors and 1 terror beak chasing you.
 

When cooked;
+5 hunger
+5 health
No sanity loss/gain.
No 'trip'.
*This would lead a player to believe that cooking with this mushroom is safe.

 

When put in a crock pot recipe:

The recipe has additional:
+5 hunger
+5 health
+5 sanity

AND you go on that same 'trip' for 30 seconds this time. Sanity will be same but you act as if you are completely insane like the scenario above.

If we make Turkey Dinner:
 
WITHOUT Purple Mushroom:               WITH Purple Mushroom:
                                                              
+20 health                                             

                                                              +25 health
+75 hunger                                          

                                                              +80 hunger
+5 sanity 
                                                              +10 sanity

not sure about the crockpot recipes... how about a mushroom medley instead?

 

Other than that, it sounds doable. In singleplayer, I already made an induced insanity effect before, so that's possible too. Heck, I think I could make that a mod (and that means quite something, since my only mod in DST so far is twenty lines of code ported from DS). Main problem would be art, as always :p

Model it after a top hat since we have a wizard hat mushroom? xD
