First server, I start in autumn, play through that whole season and through winter without the least bit of lag. Spring comes, frog rain, lag everywhere and everyone dies because we can't move. Second server. Same thing. Third server. Same thing. Fourth server. I spawn while the lag rain is happening, just in time to read people saying via chat things like 'WTF LAG', 'Frog rain and lag', 'my grandma is a dude', and things like that. So, wtf? In fact I've noticed lag and then reconnect to the same server and no lag at all for hours. A lot of people open up a server on their kinda-decent-but-not-equipped-for-major-server-hosting laptops and just let others play. Try the Klei dedicated servers. (Beware griefers)Or if playing with friends, find the one with the most souped up PC and let him/her host. And iot didn't ever lag before. But now it lags in the rain.
