Muflak
Since I guess it will be a long way to eventually include the ruins in DST and becauseI never really liked the Splumonkeys anyway (sorry), here is my wish: I would love to see nicer andmore "cultured" monkeys that dont live underground. These cousins of the Splumonkeys live in small villages and for sure they love bananas too. Similiar to the pigs they should have a leader: instead of the pig king this could be a monkey scientist.I mean it should be clear, that as soon as moon rocks are falling from the sky there will be a monkey scientist with the foredoomed to fail plan "We need to get to the moon and leave this mess behind".The player can trade valueable stuff (gems, moonrocks) to the scientist and gets blueprints. I think this would also explain who wrote all these blueprints (or was it Maxwell )What do you think? We need cooler monkeys !
GiddyGuy
The player can trade valueable stuff (gems, moonrocks) to the scientist and gets blueprints. Why would we need blueprints unless they let us craft character items like Wickerbottom's books or Wigfrid's helmet? maybe if he gave you thulecite and sometimes blueprints to thulecite gear & items I could see why the blueprints would be great. Asparagus
@Muflak, do you mean to make them similar to pigs and become bipedal? blueprints to thulecite gear & items I could see why the blueprints would be great. But first we need to make ancients' recipes learned from blueprints actually stay and not require to be in the general vicinity of an Ancient Pseudo Science Station. GiddyGuy
But first we need to make ancients' recipes learned from blueprints actually stay and not require to be in the general vicinity of an Ancient Pseudo Science Station. That's what I was trying to say sorry for not mentioning it. ;-;
Asparagus
;-; *collects tears in a bottle.*Mine now O__O haha it's ok, don't sweat it... but if you do sweat, put it in a bottle O__O O__O
Muflak
@Muflak, do you mean to make them similar to pigs and become bipedal? Hhm, I don't think so. I guess they should move like the Splumonkeys. Also it would be awesome, if they would use warm water ponds in winter like these guys: The monkey scientist could also give the player other things than blueprints. This was just the first thing that came to my mind.
Muflak
Sorry, I needed to evolve this stupid idea ... to bring it to an end now. 1. Normal monkeys work during summer in order to get coal so that they have warm pools in winter. Perhaps you can also feed them bananas so that one will follow for some time (e.g. to mine rocks). (Monkeys don't like pigs.) A little photoshop work: ..and then they bring the coal to a super science machine besides the pond: 2. The first idea for the super clever monkey scientist was that he gives blueprints for rare items (e.g. gems). Another idea is that you have to give him for example 10 or 20 red gems in order to fill some kind of machine and get some super scientific special gift. See the monkey scientist here:
