L0stLP Posted December 25, 2012 Share Posted December 25, 2012 If the swamp monster takes to much damage it a low time frame from spiders, it should produce sleeping gas that will put the spiders to sleep, that will at least give it extra time to kill more spiders.If it takes damage from the Tree Guard or the Spider queen it should paralyze the boss and/or hide underground so it could avoid death.The monster should have the option to not reveal itself if it knows it has no chance. Urbstudio Posted December 26, 2012 Share Posted December 26, 2012 One idea that would be good is if the swamp monster would drag its enemies under ground at one point and if it tries drags you under ground you have to click to attack as fast as you can before it drags you underground too your death. Suspicious Posted December 26, 2012 Share Posted December 26, 2012 Battling a boss in the swamp is a perilous proposition on it's own.Using the tentacles as traps to lure bosses into seems the more likely scenario and I've found them quite good at weakening your fat foes. A simple hide mechanic that doesn't weaken the boss but keeps the tentacle out of harm's way would be ideal for keeping the pressure on the player.
