Synergistic lineups?

Hey guys, unlocking Faust/Brimstone and the 2 characters got me thinking a lot about synergy. I always used to run Banks/Internationale because access to red doors and ranged energy from consoles made burning through missions before higher alarm levels hit a breeze. I'm a big fan of running Archive Banks and maxing her Hacking skill right away to treat consoles like giant safes, but it obviously comes at the cost of struggling for power. At first I thought her weapon was great because range! Quickly realized I can no longer fall back on being able to K.O. guards as a get out of jail free card because ammo can be really hard to come by. Anyways, I've run her with Prism, Archive Internationale, Xu, and Sharp(thought +1 innate hacking might stretch power a bit further since I stuggle to get all the consoles with the econ chip CD).

 

What are your guys' favorite lineup/program starts and why?

My favorite for now is Nika + Prism with Seed + Parasite as programs.

 

Seed is best support program, because it save you 0-4 PWR per turn, anyway you hack something almost every turn. Parasite does not have much synergy with Seed, but still cheapest hacking program at start.

 

Nika is best brute character at start, especially if you get predictable brawling soon and Prism supply you with lot of spare PWR.

 

Prism is best support character, because her PWR gain is huge:

- she synergies with parasite+seed

- her max PWR per turn are actually 2 per your turn + 2 per enemy turn, so if you hack 2 objects in your turn, and with parasite in enemy turn then you get 4 PWR total

- constant unnecessary hacking also pump AP from NetLink augment (same rules with your turn+enemy turn)

- she get PWR for objects hacked via booster chip

- easier to deal with MK1 guards, because rehacked objects still give you PWR again.

- you can spam econ chip with so much PWR gain from Prism

 

 

I haven;t experimented much, but I think that most interesting synergy potential belong to Alternative Nika. She is not so good at start, but her efficiency scale tremendously with better gear.

 

- same rules for your/enemy turn and while with one attack per turn it is not noticeable, but with stims and aggressive play your cooldowns potentially 2-3 times smaller.

- give her few paralyzers and downed enemies are never going to get up again

- potential econ chip spaming

- fast stim cooldown give you mobility and extra attacks

Central and Monst3r make for a high risk, high reward team. Too bad Monst3r's ability is kinda meh in Endless. Add Faust for more funny stuff to happen.

 

Internationale and Prism synergize well, because the scouting ability of the former will allow you to plan ahead and make the most of the ability of the latter.

 

Internationale and Xu is a personal favorite. She reveals safes and power generators, he hacks them. When you get to 4 agents, you can even choose to make Internationale a pure scout, doing nothing but hugging the walls.

 

Nika and Xu form one of the two great rushing teams (along with Internationale + Banks). Whether you prefer Xu Archive or On file is left to your discretion, they're both very, very good.

Is this because Archive Internationale solves Archive Banks problem with power or is there something else i'm missing?

 

Edit: I've started using sharp more because power never seems to be an issue since i'm waiting nearly an entire alarm cycle to use the econ chip again anyways, and he also starts with +1 hacking for +50 creds/console.

John Sharp and Prism with Fusion and Parasite is my favourite combination. You will never run out of power with that build!
