Didn't know you can knock out your own agents with your shock traps

Just wanted to let people know this because it just turned a mission that was already going horrible into just disgustingly horrifying.

So many Enforcers I had to kill...just thank god I had Archive Decker along with Archive Shalem. I was already in deep **** with a couple of enforcers on the way to get me for looting the vault and then I placed a shock trap with Decker but after I did so I decided I wanted to send Shalem through the door...and bam, Shalem out for 4 turns and Enforcers are pouring in... and guards looking for me all over the place.

Of course the corporation was Plastech (seriously, screw Plastech, everything always goes wrong in Plastech). Up to this point I had only killed 2 guards in my 30 hours in the release version, one in my Endless game with a turret accidentally and one accidentally on this playthrough with a misclick...There was a corridor I had to get through with enforcers and I just had to blast my way through all of them and I somehow made it through.

I have no screenshots of the actual mission because I was so tensed up I forgot to take any until the mission was over. This was the crappiest thing that has happened to me thus far but I made it through..no matter how impossible situations seem in this game there always seems to be a way which is awesome. I was gonna get up to like 3000 credits but due to the cleanup I got like 2179 or somewhere along those lines.

I found it kinda funny also that on our worst mission yet Decker's starting lines when entering the complex were "I'm getting too old for this crap"..Poor guy.

I once intentionally opened a door with after setting a shock trap on it to knock out Nika when she was under threat from a distance and had no other option to escape. It was in the final mission, right outside of the Monst3r hack terminal. The guard checked out the situation and wandered off. She got knocked out long enough to wake up in time to escort Monst3r to the final door. I went on to win the game on expert.

Tactical self shocking. Brutal but effective.

Sounds like a great tactic.

Damn...haha. Some genius level strategy right there. Have to keep that in mind.

You can also use the teleporter in shifts in order to extract more than 4 people. Send one or two agents out through the teleporter, and then there's a 2-turn cooldown for the teleporter, at which point it'll come back ready to use for the rest of your team.

Please, explain how this is done. It would be an incredibly handy trick.

Shocktrap placed on the door to teleporter room, agent activate door, knocked out, dragged to the tele-elevator: one on the floor, other 4 stays around, teleport out. No need to wait for tele-cooldown now.

Haha, this is kind of hilarious! :D Just "play dead" and the guard even buys it! But actually, in some very rare scenarios (like the one you described) this could be a surprisingly valid strategy!

"Freeze, or i'll shoot you!!

"Not if i knock myself out first!" *zap*

"Uh...that was not what i expected..."
