conley18 Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 I feel like this game was made to have a leaderboard, to be top rank person of survived days is a goal to keep you playing more i would think, dont you guys agree? i think a leaderboard system would be a good idea and why wasnt it implemented from the start? Not just that, but the days can easily be sped up with console, eliminating any real need to have a leaderboard. Besides, some people choose unbalanced modded characters or cheat. I don't think Don't Starve is about getting a high score, to me it feels like showing how good someone else is ruins the cooperative feeling. I agree. Also, days passed is not a statement to your skill. You can survive infinitely in Don't Starve once you get quite skilled enough. So expert players figure out ways to make their life desperate ) Like in DF.
