Ech0Whisker
When they hatch, they grow, but when you log out, It no longer follows the player. Is there a way to make them your companion again, Or not?
Auth
There isn't, which is why I'm hoping Klei realises just how great tallbirds are and they fix this.
Ech0Whisker
Thank you for your feedback. It sucks because of the difficulty and time it takes to get a teenbird.
Ridley
It has been this way for quite awhile, which is a shame because I get such a sadistic kick out of people returning to the base to discover a baby small bird is now their problem.
Asparagus
My adventure in a random server!fast forward, I found a tallbird nest and "adopted" the egg... I bring it to the people in the "base" and one Wilson proceeds to take it... RandomWilson: *places egg near firepit*Me: Nice, but are you ready to take care of a baby tallbird?RandomWilson: Lol, noob, i'm hatching chester!Me: ...I didn't know you could hatch... what was it? Asparagus
That's so funny. If that egg hatched, he would've said "Why didn't Chester hatch?" If I was in your place, I would've directed him to the DS Wiki or just told him "That's not how Chester works." I thought that experience would be a better teacher... ...plus I was so "ngg" about it so I kinda forgot about the wikis O__O
