If it's too big, the hounds might spawn IN the castle instead of our of it... The freeze-over effect you experienced may have been due to the season being in transition? It was in the middle of winter... and the thermo-... thingy's temperature reading didn't change... O__O Too many mushrooms, friend. I was guessing that. I was off the green shroom that day... the red shroom however...
