brndn1 Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 The Description for the Booster Shot item seems a bit misleading, "Boosts your max health".-Note that I have never played the original, "Don't Starve". I was playing as Wolfgang who has a varying amount of hp depending on your hunger, I was 200 hp at the time. I made two Booster Shots thinking I could increase my max health since the description seemed promising along with the items it took to make it. I was staring at my hp bar waiting to see what happens when I used it, nothing changed on the first one, so I tried again with the second one, same thing, nothing. I then searched up what a Booster Shots actually did, "Restores 20 maximum health".The Booster Shots actually restore the partially permanent hp you have lost due to dying. I was bummed after finding this out since I had wasted quite a few materials making them with no positive outcome. In short, the Booster Shot item description should be changed to something less misleading in my opinion. This should be considered a bug if you are able to use it without having missing health.
