Excess
A fair question indeed.I would also like to know this, as I've already traded 6 keys (I think) and would like to know if I need to keep track of to whom I gave which key, to give them their corresponding steam key in the future.I would guess that the Steam keys will be sent to the google account which used the key, not the google account that bought the gift packs. JoeW
You will be able to get the steam key from inside the game. So once you pass on the original key, you no longer have to worry about it. Basically you would just "click a button" in the game and you would see your steam key.
nowherz
Oh ok, that's a nice and simple way. Thank you for quick answering .
Zero_Starlight
Sorry to revive this thread, but I have a question. What about those who got an extra key, such as myself? I recently used DawnOfNight's second key, so do I get the Steam key? Or is it only those who purchase the game themselves who get the Steam key? Thanks in advance,- Zero
Excess
Basically, if you used a key to unlock a full game, then all you have to do is to log on to that Don't Starve game and you'll see a new button on the menu that says something along the way of "redeem your Steam key here".It doesn't matter where you got the key, only if you already used it or not. If you haven't used a key yet, I guess (by JoeW's post) you'll have to unlock a full Chrome game with it before redeeming it on Steam.
