CityOfGloom
If I host a DST server on one computer(then sign out)and I go over to someone elses house, could I host that same server from a different computer? And if so, how? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/47464-accessing-a-dst-server-from-a-different-computer/ Share on other sites
Pyromailmann
You can enable the Steam cloud through Libraries/Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/Settings.ini and enable it, but from what I've heard, it's buggy. Thanks I'll give it a try, but I assume I have to do that through the first computer, right? Developer SethR Posted December 24, 2014 Developer Share Posted December 24, 2014 Steam Cloud isn't "buggy" so much as "not supported at all" right now You can manually copy the save files, but as we aren't yet supporting Steam Cloud, that's the only way to host a server from a different computer than it was originally hosted on. When copying the files, you'll need the map save file itself (survival_x) and the appropriate folder containing all of the session data for all clients that have connected to the server, which is one of the folders in the client folder in your save folder.
