will moded characters work

hey everybody just out of curiosity do you think moded characters will work in  online co-op when don't starve together comes out

I know there's only about 2-3 that worth using and up to date in the 30 pages of steam community mods but still could be fun

Yes, right now its a bit tricky since mod integration is still a bit wonky for multiplayer, but Klei plans to make it much easier in the near future. My friend Rezecib has made a neat little FAQ for mods if you're interested, and I'll link the DST general FAQ as well in case you have other questions.

The mods will need tweaking to rework with DST. Most code is salvageable as stated but you will be required to rework parts of your mod if it crashes on you.
