Morgan17 Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Decided to do a halloween poem I call ''The Night is Nigh'' A moan comes from your backyardA cold breeze flows through your hairThe screams of banshees are getting louderAnd a hand rises up from the graveyardwith the smell of rotting flesh floating into your nose You shut the curtainsand lock the doorYou hide in your closetHoping it will endbut you can't escape those sounds of terror A knock comes from the doorGathering up the courage to peekYou unlock the door and open itTo your suprise, you seea child in a zombie costume The child says, ''Trick or treat!''and you hand him a candyHe walks away gleefullywith a smile on your faceand you close the door, but not before leaving a bowl of candy outside Happy Halloween Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
