Both Athena and Wilson covered their ears, flinching at Wakana's high pitch. This situation was getting out of hand quickly.

"Wakana, please calm down. You don't want to make it angrier."

Athena looked up at Newleaf.

"I don't know what the hounds did to you to make you so tense, but this one is different from the others. It hasn't attacked any of us and is actually quite friendly."

"I can confirm that this hound hasn't behaved like any of the others I've come across, and I've fought quite a few.

Newleaf, however, not having a human's anatomy, wasn't affected by Wakana's screech. "I harbor an ancient grudge against these beasts. Nothing a petty human would understand." He looked down at Wakana, frowning. "But I am thoroughly disappointed with your actions."

Wakana: "I don't care if the tree person is angry! I said put him down! NOW!"

Wakana raised his tomahawk with anger, and threw it at Newleaf, aimed directly for the cluster of vines Suspending Wulfric in air. Meanwhile, the orange and purple leaves on Wakana's head would begin quivering, and shot straight out as blackness enveloped them.

Newleaf was too busy trying to discern what was happening to Wakana to see the tomahawk flying at his vines. The axe-like weapon pierced his vines, sending Wulfric barreling to the ground at a high speed, considering he was rather high up in the air.

Wakana is gruesomely crushed beneath the falling hound.

Meanwhile, back where everyone had been gathering supplies, Oxryklne is rooting around in the stump of a dead, rotting tree.  Upon poking his head out of the flimsy wood, he notices that the group is no longer around.

"Wonderful."

(This is what you get for not being active, Oxy.)

Athena was momentarily stunned at the change of Wakana's leaves, but quickly snapped out of it as he ran under the falling hound. Without hesitation she dashed to where he was and grabbed him in her arms, stumbling and landing on her side with Wakana safely out of the way. Unfortunately, with the size of the hound and the height it was falling from meant neither Wilson or Athena could do anything to stop it's descent without getting crushed.

The rumbling grew stronger, and stronger, until eventually the devices nearby began shaking, some even lost their balance. The group would also have trouble standing. The rumbling grew to a point where birds were flying away, and trees were falling over. Then it just went straight to a stop, and a mound of dirt appeared through the ground under Wulfric. Right when he was going to hit it, it opened up revealing a row of sharp teeth all around it's fleshy insides, and swallowed Wulfric. When wulfric was swallowed, it closes itself back up into a mound of dirt.

One of the trees that fell over was Newleaf, and thus he crushed all the others. The end.

In order to stay upright, Newleaf's roots traveled deep into the ground, stabilizing himself. He watched as the large beast consumed Wulfric, frowning slightly. "More strange creatures around the lot of you..."

Athena slowly got up, Wakana still in her arms, and both she and Wilson stared at the stop Wulfric was swallowed with disbelief. After a few moments of silence and mouth-hanging-openness, she spoke up just loud enough for the group to hear.

"What. The heck. Was that."

Wilson stood with his brow furrowed, deep in thought.

As Oxryklne flew around, he found the spot where Addomiddius had been injured, the streak of blood on the ground still wet, but the creature itself was nowhere to be seen. If he looked closely though, he could see faint claw marks and an occasional drop of blood pointed in the direction of camp.
