They said they'd have something by the first day of Fall, and have said they will start something by the end of the Month. Nuff said, please read the first posts of any pinned dev threads. Tamazacat Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 It'd be a bit pointless to have a closed beta for multiplayer; if you're looking for lots of people to play at once, you're going to want to find all of the bugs you possibly can.The more people they have playing, the greater number of bug reports/suggestions to improve things, therefore increasing the overall quality of the finished game sooner.Unless Klei has a substantial number of players to play the closed beta selected through forum activity and/or an application process. This would allow them to sift through applications, seeking out selected maturity levels and the ability in itself to actually report bugs instead of running away from the beta crying after they find a bug.
