Palpetinus
For some reason it's gone for me now. It's weird because while playing my processor was at 100% (running BOINC), so it can't really be a processing problem if it's FIXED now. the truthseeker
Same happened to me with the 100% CPU, then it was gone. Can't say why.
MycoLogical
I'm getting this, sounds like someone is loading a gun.
Palpetinus
It's reeeally odd. I am running my CPU at all times at 100% lately and sometimes it is horribly much and loud, sometimes not there at all. When I DO have the problem, disabling BOINC and therefore freeing the processor fixes it. It seems to not be able to process something correctly.I will have to do some testing but I only can on Sunday, got no PC on weekends.
the truthseeker
It's like it hijacks a part of the kernel and that causes this sound crackle skip....
Developer rooks Posted September 13, 2014 Developer Share Posted September 13, 2014 We haven't forgotten this issue. It's possible it may be resolved or improved by next update (the Sept 16 Active Recon one). If you still notice sound crackling after that point, please re-post to let us know. isi23
I had same issue with music and problem was in corrupted file. Right click on game in steam library - properties - local files - verify integrity of game cache.
