Why doesnt my dont starve save :(

I bought this game a few days ago, and as you can expect I was pretty bad But after a while i got better blah blah blah... I then tried to save it but it wouldnt let me play it again after I had left the game Any help please?

in the previous version of the game, it only automatically saved at night and dawn, there was no manual saving. as of dec 11th, the game will also save whenever you quit the game.

if you played for at least a full day without dying, you should have been able to resume playing, so i'm not sure why you couldn't continue. i'd try making a new file, performing a save & exit, and then seeing if you can continue that file.

It doesn't say save and exit however it does save at night/day but won't allow me to carry on playing the same save if i exit the game but thank you for the help

Okay, not even my settings save :S if i dont want any sound it just comes back if i close the browser :S

My experience that I earn isn't saved either Please someone help, I really enjoy this game but its being ruined by this one probelm.

do you have a steam key? try playing it in steam instead of the chrome browser.

Does it only save on steam? ive got steam but i havnt played it much on it...

Try again, kraymar. Chrome saving was broken yesterday, but should be fixed now.
