Benerific
I'm far from an expert player but at the end of every autumn the bearger comes, steals my (often large) stash of food for the winter and kills me, either through slashing or slow starvation over winter. I'm fine with it killing me in a fight but stealing ALL my food store seems a bit rough to me, maybe it could be more considerate?

JimmyJam
Just don't keep all your food in one place.
DreamApart
Go to the cave and get yourself some lobsters, If you don't have better ideas.2 lobsters is enough to help you kill any boss. This is almost the easiest way: just make 2 torches, find lobsters, give them rocks, go home directly. When bosses come, just make them fight.(The Moose seems not to fight with lobsters, but they are much easier to be killed.) But be warned that lobsters breed very fast, which may mess up your eco-system in late game. They are nearly invulnerable and could possibly extinguish your beefalos without efforts.
