Lewis goes to see what Wilson is doing.

Alma gently removes her dress spotted with blood, revealing she was wearing a white shirt, that strangely was stained with some blood too, and a black skirt under it. She then folds the dress along with the winter hat and puts them near the roll. When she is sure no one is watching, she takes the knife that was hidden in her boot and hides it under the roll as she goes into it.

"Ok, I'm done. Don't try anything stupid while I'm sleeping."

And that said she covers with the fur and pretends to be sleeping.

Wilson took out several lengths of cut grass and walked over to the science machine. After a couple minutes of work, he managed to sew it together into a grass "blanket" of sorts. He carefully snuck over to Alma, and laid it on top of her.

(Okay, Hey Dwer, do you already have a completely set backstory for Alma?)

(Yup)

Lewis was staring at the girl.

<There is something weird in her...>

Then he shakes his head when hears Entropy's words and with a fake smile says:

"You are a real gentleman, Wilson."

Lewis lays his head on the roll.

" 'Night everyone."

The boy closes his eyes and the last thing he thought before sleeping was:

<Something is going to happen...someone is going to get injured...>

-------------------

<Why have I been brought here?>

Far away from the lighted camp, a girl was crouched in fetal position.

<...It's cold here...>

The girl lifted her head, looking at the orange sky of dusk with pale gray, dead eyes. One eye was covered by a lock of black, chin-lenght hair, but she didn't bother moving it.

<...How did this happen?>

-------------------

The girl with empty eyes suddenly tramblet in fear.

<The light is vanishing, but along with the darkness something else is coming... I have to hide! I have to run!>

The girl stood up, closed her eyes and started murmuring something.

After a minute or two, she looked in a direction and stared at it.

And then started running, right in the moment when, from an undefined distance, a sound of hounds barking started playing.

-------------------

<What was I thinking?> The girl thought. Her empty eyes were now full of tears.

The hounds were near. Their barking was now closer, and was getting closer and closer.

The sad girl was on the ground, crouched, probably with her ankle twisted.

<I'm pathetic...I deserve to die.>

<A pathetic blind girl. The unworthy pathetic blind girl that died on a foreign place, and whose body will be eaten by dogs.>

<...No. I can't die like this. I have to go back to my brother. He needs me, even if I am a pathetic creature.>

In a moan of pain, the girl got up and reached with her hands for something she could use to defend herself. The only thing she found was a piece of sharp rock...flint maybe? She held it tightly in her hand, cutting herself too, and waited still.

<I don't have any possibilities, and I know that. So why am I holding this thing as if it was a weapon?>

The girl thought.

While the noise grew louder.

And louder.

And suddenly stopped for a moment, leaving place to more, single, distinguishable barks

(Meet Mercy, the blind girl, in a long, bad written introduction!)

(Not good for introducing Bastion. However, it does bring up something Everett can do to show his usefulness to the group.)

Everett was nowhere to be found in the camp. Presumably, based on how he was scurrying around a distance away from the camp, he was exploring or examining something.

(Well, ok then.)

Mercy was surrounded by those things. She knew that.

Trembling in fear, her body was unable to move, like she was frozen. That reminded her of that one time she had sleep paralysis, the night before the hospital burst in flames.

But this time she wasn't dreaming.

<Somebody...help me...please...>

She was repeating that line of words in her mind, but was unable to say them. The only sign of life in that girl were the tears that dropped continuosly from her empty eyes.
