So you can kill them all you want.After the next update, each house will spawn 1 pig every 3 days, and after about 3 pigs, they'll stop respawning. So enjoy your easy Meat while you can, it's (thankfully) going away Soon. At least tallbirds can be hatched for cooked meat for effigies, I assume. Building pig houses is expensive for the drops they give you.
