Rosten
Personally, i suggest luring one (or pushing it) out to kill it and make a beefalo hat, which will*actual spoiler* Make it where they won't attack you during heat, and it gives the best hat warmth during winter
JadedMeiji
Better plan let hounds kill one I tend to get more horns when they do it

Parrotoss
I turned off hounds because I can't kill them (Yes i'm a wimp)Dude, at most you should always put it on a "low" setting so you can at least make things with their teeth. Also, hounds are nothing next to beefalo. When a hound wave is starting I get a weapon, fire stuff, and a football helmet/bush hat/beefalo hat then camp out next to the beefalo. The Letter W
normal my ass i had like five screens of this densityi was camped close enough it would keep calculating them but far enough away that when they were in heat they weren't a bother. They had pushed themselves into a savannah at the edge of the map and there was only one spider nest to keep them in check. It didn't work.

WhollyGhost
That's great, I'm on day 153 and at this point they have barely doubled in population...tho I did have to build a wall to keep them from migrating while in heat, that was a middle of the night surprise, idk what woke em up...
