I'm loving the game and have finished adventure mode about 5 times and for whatever reason I have gotten 2 world's as my 3rd world 13 straight times. I am trying to unlock Wes so I know before the patch it had to be on world 3 ect but to get 2 world's 13 time in a row. Normally I would play until world 3 and if I get 2 world's for 3rd world I would die and restart th through the maxwell door with a different set of world's....but still the same. After the 10 time I figured that maybe I finished and didn't die it would reset? I beat the game with wx....then with maxwell then with wx again and still 2 worlds. I would like to unlock wes and am loving the game but Is this some kind of glitch? I've beat it twice since the patch and still get 2 worlds. 13 times in a row seems unusual. If Anyone Has Any Suggestions Please Let Me know. Other than that I have been loving the game. Thanks. Wes can appeare in MANY of the adventure worlds, not just the third Chapter. After I updated the game with newest patch I went straight to adventure mode after It finished updating. And found him my 1st run. Guess I got lucky. It sounds like your world is not updating and needs a regen. Are you leaving adventure mode entirely, or just quitting and reloading the same adventure mode save file? Thirdeye777 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Share Posted February 15, 2014 @ decan...When I would get 2 world's I would either finish all 5 world's and beat the game or die on purpose and go back to sandbox mode then re - enter adventure mode. Based from what I've seen the world's reset and would be 4 random new worlds@tam since the patch I have beat the game 4 to 7 times on slots 2 and 3 with 2 world's being the 3rd world all times. Beating the game with wx and maxwell each time. They said they fixed him appearing correctly in the 3rd World but nothing about the save slot glitch. Were it checks your first save slot to see if you unlocked Wes or not. If I am wrong, please correct me. I have tried on other saves too, mind you, i'm not sure if i made these saves after the patch or before. When did the patch come out? I live in North America (Canada). And i am just wondering do you have to download the patch manually on PS4? or will it do it automatically? It seems I have it because i look at the update history and it seems i do, i'm just confused because it never seemed to update, seemed it was just there already. Brenner Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Yeah, I just started a completely new save file yesterday the 16th of Feb as JanH suggested (on save slot 4), and got two worlds on world 3 again. Should I delete my save file on save slot 1 and then try that? I thought they patched that though. Also, a really weird glitch happened to me, my very first time playing adventure mode, i progressed to world 3, however when i finished world 2, it spawned me in the same level (king of winter i think) at the end with everything i collected and when i went through again it gave me two worlds as my 4th chapter, is this causing the game to think I already have wes and not allowing me to have other worlds other than two worlds on my 3rd chapter? Please help, i've been going for this character for so long and just to be saddened to see two worlds pop up, it's my last trophy in the game. I started a new game on slot 1,2,3,4 the first 3 times I got 2 world's but on slot 4 with Willow I finally got archipelago. Finally unlocked him. Thanks for all the help in your responses. Love it that the admin get involved to make this game more enjoyable. I feel like this was video game accomplishment on part with beating ninja gaiden for nes. To bren...The patch downloads auto I think. Check to see if auto save is on for everyday to know if patch is on but try brand new game on all save slots to make sure you can get wes. I have played through adventure mode twice to the end and got two worlds as the 3rd world before the patch. Since the patch I have played through another five times and had two worlds as world three every time. I have tried starting a new save as was suggested on other boards, but it didn't make a diffence. Does anyone have a solution to this as I am getting pretty fed up now. After patch delete your current world and create a new game on all 4 slots and hope you get another world for your 3rd world. It certainly can be frustrating but keep at it. If you're not too attached to your save on Slot 1, start up a new game on that. Let me know how it goes for you!
