EatYouAlive Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 I Started a world a couple days ago and everything was going great until I found out there are absolutely 0 Beefalos on the entire map. I don't need manure I can get that from pigs. But I do need Beefalo wool. So is there any way to spawn in beefalo, Or perhaps another way to get Beefalo wool? Thanks! Bonemiser Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 As far as I am aware, there is no way to create new Beefalo in a world that has none. A single Beefalo must exist to procreate naturally. You can leave that world entirely and hope the next one has Beefalo, but at that point you're either betting the farm or committing to a long, arduous recursion of world-skipping until you find a world with the Pig King, MacTusk, Beefalo, plenty of rabbits and enough set pieces to tide you over. If you're on the PC and can sleep at night knowing you've sullied your hands in the well of remorse, there are console commands that allow you to conjure in Beefalo by the soul or the herd. That said, I recommend you simply move on to the next world; once Pandora's Maxwell's Box is open, it can never be closed. I don't build my base around them, so camping out with the small herds of 3 beefalo isn't worth it after I get my winter gear. Thought hasn't crossed my mind yet...they provide lovely poop and wool - not only that, they've been slaying wolfies for me for 123 days now. Gaaaaawd bless 'em! No, in fact bless the person on here who recommended using them instead of actually fighting the b*stard wolverines. It's a brilliant tactic. They need to f*cking wake up though, when I'm visited at night. Lazy bumholes. Seriously, to the OP, there *is* a small percentage chance that a world will spawn without Beefalo and/or a Pig King. Without cheating as mentioned above, the only "legitimate"/PS4 way is to gather the four Things and make a Teleportato in the Wooden Thing to start again in a new world.
