Where the H3LL do I find the are where the gears are!?

Recommended Posts

Playing game on PS4 and I am getting frustrated with game crashing, and not being able to find the area on the map where the gears are dropped. I know they are specific enemies that drop them, but I know where on the map they are? Please help me find them since I am trying to get the trophies for the hidden ones.

Well every map is randomly generated so we can't really tell you were they are exactly but the mobs that drop gears are found near 'things' to find them you need to do a lot of exploring (look for evil flowers, marble pillars and checkerboard flooring)

thanks for helping, I have seen evil flowers, what does that mean? Does it mean I'm close to where I need to be?

It means there's something worth seeing nearby. Usually it just means there's a Totally Ordinary Tree, which is already a pretty good find, but they can indicate the Things on the map and Maxwell's Door as well. Evil flowers alone aren't an indication of nearby gears, though. The real surefire way is to keep an eye out marble pillars and checkerboard flooring.. you're going to want to bring armor when you find those.

Caves also are a third option of getting gears...but they are on the second level or "Ruins" often found from the mechanical denizens or certain altars.

However,l if you can survive there, you shouldn't have a problem with looking above ground then for the gears you need. Just look for the Wooden Thing and digging up graves (a rare chance for the latter.)
