So I wanted to get back into modding the game so CatastrophicMice and I re-booted our long forgotten Wilk mod from a LONG time ago.

I have gotten an alpha version of him on steam workshop (its not complete but its ~50% done I'd say)

I basically just want you guys to try it out then tell me any improvements or bugs you encounter if you wouldn't mind :-)

I'm working on a better roadmap for the mod, but what I have done is:

Wilk is in game
Wilk changes to WereWilk after starving for too long
Normal Wilk's sanity is MUCH higher, but his damage and health is lowered.
WereWilk has VERY low sanity, but has a lot of health, can run fast (enough to catch rabbits with his bear hands), and does extra damage.

Left to work on:
Monster Meat doesn't hurt
Non-meats/processed food hurts
Night Vision for Were-Wilk
Transformation animation
Some general art stuff (curving out his body parts to be a bit sleeker, having his arm pieces line up correctly, big portrait, save portrait ect...)

Keep in mind this is EARLY in development, its not done. I put it on workshop so I can easily share my work with CatastrophicMice.

I figured I'd make it public so you guys can see it/try it as it develops.

(Character background)
This is Wilk.
Wilk is an outcast.
He is a pig thrown out by his brethren for being different.
He is smaller then his brothers, but also has more potential.
Being forced into the wild, he learned to adapt to what he could get, that being lots of meat.
He is able to eat monster meat with no consequences, but do to the lack of processed food in his diet, non-meats make him sick.
Though unknown to him, he often becomes a were-pig after eating too much meat, thus becoming a monster most should fear.

Ill address what you said one thing at a time.

1: They eat vegetables

Yeah they do, but they obviously have trouble eating it, and they have it readily available. If you didn't have it readily available you would struggle to eat it as well.

2: Too low of sanity

You may have a point here, keep in mind its in alpha and I'm using the sanity as a temporary thing most likely, this beta is mainly to test the art, and get people to follow the production of the mod.

3: Night vision

Were-pigs SPECIFICALLY attack at night and at no other time, meaning they clearly have night-vision.

His normal form does not have night-vision, sorry for the confusion. :)

Wilk, you need to take a look at Isis from the Steam workshop. She has the code for night vision. Line 67 of mod/workshop#/prefabs/Isis.lua

Also check on meats.lua inside of the "Heavy" Character Mod. He'll get you a bit closer to removing the negative effects on monster meat.

Willette, the character, has an immunity to monster meat. I'd also check out her 'lua's.

Gotcha. I feel for you! I'm glad that I love coding, or I couldn't of helped.

You might also look into adding a sound to your character. Maybe, a bell for regular wilk and a cowbell for monster wilk-
