Eyes are merely windows to the soul....And also the fact that stimuli from objects around you are still being processed in your brain, giving a phenomenon where you can still see, despite not having eyes. It will cause you to stay up the whole night while lying down. Hallucinations will spawn all around you causing you to lose sanity. The warbling insanity effect will show but the hallucinations won't attack you. It would just be like real life(Trust me you don't want to be sleep paralyzed.
