The Screecher (Roleplay)

[Blewcheese]

Ben nods.

"Well, that probably means you're normal."

He bends down before the dog.

"Well, dog with wings? Can you talk?"

[WhispNcat]

"Probably not, It seems to be an ordinary animal... with wings. For it to tilt its head like that would also probably mean that it has no idea where its at either." She sighs.

[gloryKAT]

She shakes her head.

Not anymore.

She draws in the dirt instead, the light from her wings illuminating the words. She scrawls "I can do this though" messily in the dirt with a claw.

[Blewcheese]

"Oh, she can write, but she can't talk. Okay, fair enough. Tell us, dog, where'd you learn to write?"

[gloryKAT]

She snorts angrily.

Well, this'll be hard to explain.

She draws, first, a pencil. Then a stick person. She keeps drawing figures in the dust until she writes a radio, another stick person, being captured, a drawing of an island, a dog escaping, and then a dog walking into a forest. She looks up at Ben.

[Blewcheese]

"Oh, cool. I love comics."

He takes a moment to examine the pictures.

"Alright... You were a person, and now you're a dog. Because of a radio. And now you're here."

[gloryKAT]

She draws a slightly taller person, and points to the radio with an arrow. She jabs at the drawing with her tail.

[Blewcheese]

"So... There's a person who is a radio that turned you into a dog... I think I get it..."

[Rabbitfist]

(sorry that i wasnt online, i was with a friend in the cinema and we watched Thor)

John runs through tall grass hearing owl screechs behind him

"what the hell is that!"

[Blewcheese]

(It's fine, mister birthday! Also, when you said John, I thought this was the wrong roleplay. Oooooh boy.)

Ben hears the screech.

"Again? Seriously? I'm kinda done with this. Show yourselves, you stupid birds!"

[Twinkie]

(Went to go see Thor too. Tickets were sold out -.-)

"There are TOO MANY owls here."

"I don't know why... But I have a felling that owls stole my stuff.."

Peter then walks towards the owl sounds.

[Morgan17]

James returns, with scratches all over his body.

"Those owl things, don't look at them. They are FIERCE!"

James faints, falling right into a tree.

(sorry I was gone for so long. I had a 2 hour pottery class...)

Reason for camping: Running Away From Home

Backstory: Henry wasn't exactly the cool guy. In fact, he was anything but. But he was perfectly fine with that. He liked being abnormal. But it all escalated when the other students at his high school went too far. They had sabotaged his work, causing him to drop plenty of letter grades in all of his classes, and no one would believe him. Being the perfectionist he was, this caused much inner turmoil, which eventually caused him to feign suicide, and in the suicide note blamed the other students. He fled into the forest after writing the note. Eventually, he found himself in Pillet Creek.

*Swania manages to catch up with Ben*

"Ooh, I love birds!"

James wakes up, noticing some new people.

"Ben, who are these people?"

[Ellebelly24]

*Swania turns towards James*

"Why, good sir, the name is Swania."

[WhispNcat]

"I'm Kiree, nice to meet you. Besides, Owl things, What did it look like because it seems like these creatures would be mixed with birds... guessing because of the dog. " She turns looking at Shard.

[Blewcheese]

"Uh, yeah. They introduced themselves. Why did you just leave me, James? What the heck?"

[Morgan17]

"Hmm. So you've seen that beast too? And I'm not surprised with the dog bird. Apparently all animals here are mixed with birds. Sorry I left you behind Ben. I had a feeling someone would come take care of you."

The owl beast runs through a bush, and James notices.

"RUN! IT'S THE BEAST!"

"Who is back? Is this a trick?!"

*Swania expression changed to angr, though its impossible to see behind her masque*

[Blewcheese]

"What the [lot's o' bleeps] is that thing?"

His hands instinctively revert to a defensive position, loosely held in front of his chest.

[Morgan17]

"He's a beast I call a 'screecher', due to his loud screech we've been hearing. Just don't stare!"

The screecher leaps out from a bush.

"Just run! he only wants me!"

*Swania starts to laugh*

"Great trick! It's not bad, but it could use some work."

[WhispNcat]

"Well, I guess that sucks that we can't stare at him, but I guess its only an owls job doing this... although I wish I could get a quick look at it..." Really she only saw some blur of the creature as she got ready to run with the group.
