MrEntity Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 My first map is almost invariably A Cold Reception or (slightly less likely) King of Winter. Occasionally I'll get Archipelago. I have only ever gotten The Game is Afoot once. And I'd like to point out that I have, in fact, been scumming the 1st level gen so I get something where I can make a base to prepare for the next 5 levels, so I've seen a lot of 1st levels generated.Does anybody know how the probabilities are skewed for various level generations? the truthseeker Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 If i'm playing WX-78 it's highly probable Murphy will load A Cold Reception But seriously, it truly is a random selection of the starting mods which will load. Perhaps somebody with good developer skill can explain the LUA here? 23rd Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Not sure if this is exclusive to me but whenever I enter the door multiple times in a short time span (I'm still terrible at Adventure Mode) I always seem to get the same chapter repeatedly. This can get particularly frustrating when I've got King of Winter first. EDIT: I've got to agree with your order of most likely chapters to get first, although King of Winter seems to happen just as often as A Cold Reception for me.
