Game overall update

I signed up with my email but for some reason still can't get the update and mine is from April. So can someone please give me the link to the update files to update the game since I have not been notified either way. Thank you.

 If I pre-order and play the Alpha, will I get a DRM-free build when the game launches? 

When you pre-order Incognita you’ll also get access to all future Alpha and Beta builds as well as a copy of the final released game (be it on Steam or the DRM-Free Standalone).

 

Will you be releasing Incognita to other platforms? Which ones? 

Incongita will be available on PC Steam first; we will expand out from there as we progress towards launch. For now, we’re specifically focused on PC Steam for the Alpha.

 

What exactly does Incognita Alpha mean? 

Alpha means that we are still in the early stages of development. We have the core mechanic of turn-based espionage, but the major features and content of the game are still being implemented. We expect the game to change significantly as we test and release new updates, and as much as we try to keep them out, we’re expecting bugs along the way.

 

When is the final launch of the game? 

2014 is what we’re targeting right now. Much of development timing will be discovered as we go along and we get a feel for how players react to the game. 

 

 

 

This game is in Alpha and is only on Steam. 

 

In the future, please read their FAQ, and also make sure you're not confusing this game with another of their games (such as Don't Starve for example, which is live and does have other game play platforms.)

LOL link works great. Poor Link. However I am completely missing the updater file???

Standalone Version
There are two ways to update your Standalone client. First is the automatic update which asks you to enter your game key (once) for it to automatically update your game every time you run it. If your updater does not open-up whenever you run Don't Starve, you'll have to delete the "updater.json" file and reset your updater settings.

To Do that:

• Go into your Documents folder, you should find a folder in there named "Klei"
• In there will be another folder named "DoNotStarve", double-click that folder
• Within "DoNotStarve" will be a file called "updater.json"; Delete that file.
