Wilson Mcborn
I hope my main title make sense...I used the english dictionnary to make it clear... =D In some map theres a wooden base wheres there is some beefalo herd. Theres a chest near the entrance. When you open it it explode and diffuse fire all over and destroy everything and left over a fire staff. I try to use a hammer to deconstruct the chest but nope it explode even more... So i start imagine that its either the camp or the fire staff... I was wandering if any of you elder of DS have seen the camp and figure out how to open the chest without everything explode. Am i right with the dilemma of the wooden base or the fire staff... thx for answering! Spazmatic
It's basically a trap chest, which triggers when you open it. There's a small chance it won't trigger but don't count on it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28235-the-bursting-trigger-chest/#findComment-330941 Share on other sites

the truthseeker
Crud. This is one of the last things I tried to figure out (how to open without triggering the trap, including hammering sections while keeping most of it intact) without much success. The Disused Beefalo Pen Trap is listed in the link. Pretty much (while there is some small percentage it won't trigger if you open the chest, it likely will causing gunpowder to light and burn the entire pen, even if you hammer the chest;) you can use the pen and not open the chest or hammer everything around the chest and remove the components before opening the chest. Hugo M.
Remove all the items in your inventory before trying to open the chest. It worked with me. Exactly. Just take all the resources first.
