Yay
So my idea is to be able to place honey down to slow down everything that walks on in... ( It will stay for 4 days until it disappears) So basically like placable spider webs but effecting everything... (Short and Sweet Idea Get it?) zazori
Sounds like a good idea that will (probably) be override by the toothtraps fields. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-326094 Share on other sites
TeoSS69
Seeing how easily obtainable honey is, i don't think this is a good idea. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-326148 Share on other sites
Craig_Perry
hmm cool idea but maybe silk can be placed instead of honey as honey is equally as renewable and there is a negligible risk of collecting it (unless you forget you have little health or get cocky anyway) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-326310 Share on other sites
kylekunfox
how about an item made from honey, rot, and silk called sticky goo? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-326509 Share on other sites
Lynx of Arabia
how about an item made from honey, rot, and silk called sticky goo?I like this ....but as that dude said ...why waste time , resources and food on something a tooth trap can easily do repeatedly no questions asked Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-326522 Share on other sites
Blewcheese
Well... What if you added an advantage to it for you, while adding a hint of magic of course. If you add some nightmare fuel it makes it so that if a friendly (pig, chester, etc) or a character steps on it, they speed up. If a hostile steps on it, they slow down. jbeetle
I think replaceable spider webbing turf slowing down all but spiders is good enough (and that doesn't spread) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-327146 Share on other sites
Yay
I think replaceable spider webbing turf slowing down all but spiders is good enough (and that doesn't spread)I believe you used to be able to do this... when the turf update came out Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/27991-placable-honey/#findComment-327481 Share on other sites
jbeetle
I believe you used to be able to do this... when the turf update came outI'm not so sure. If so, I think the problem was that the spider webbing would spread very fast. something like that. Ridley
I'm not so sure. If so, I think the problem was that the spider webbing would spread very fast. something like that. It would spread faster than a plague. It was truely a nightmare. Roads covered, the map invested like with the spider queen trailer, tallbirds getting swarmed and killed by spiders; everything was dieing in the month of the spider queen. Malan-Tai
It would go op... because there is too much honey...But with the @kylekunfox recipe, replacing rot by nightmare fuel ?
