"Thank you for donating to the blood manipulators," Celina says under her breath, pulling out the osteotome. It doesn't take a plot driven master to figure out what she's going to do.

A flash of metal, a spurt of crimson, and Celina wraps her left arm up, by pulling her right arm inside of her straitjacket dress and using the other sleeve to tie the wound up.

Pops hisses in pain, and Joseph lets out a quiet wail. However, Pops doesn't loose control of the blood, and the large, crimson hand presses against the ground, bringing up a large body with three more visible arms and a skull like head. "Oh, but I can. Every being has bounds, Shadowfall, even you. You may not end the pitiful humans. They must suffer more in life before they may disappear."

The shade snorts.  "Did you forget about your restrictions?  Or do you just randomly choose favorites now...?  But no matter.  Even you cannot match my power."

Shadowfall rears up onto his back legs, then smashes his entire front body onto the blood creature.

"Fool, I am the restrictions." The blood splatters back as the creature is hit by Shadowfall, but the blood simply re-collects besides Shadowfall. However, this time, the creature does not take his time emerging from the pool, but a large, burly hand reaches out and grabs at Shadowfall.

Pops looks at Celina, then at the osteotome. "You wouldn't mind if I borrowed that, would you?"

The blood that didn't splatter off the cliff grouped together into its puddle, expanding and producing a slightly smaller version of the previous avatar. Meanwhile, the original pool continued latching hands on to Shadowfall, and the blood began to boil. "Try? On the likes of you? Don't flatter yourself."

(You could call that...)

(...A burn!)

(YEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHwtf)

Shadowfall roars at the sky, and his form dissolves into a shapeless, spasming blob.  A second later, he returns to normal, the blood on him nowhere to be seen.

"It is a shame that your words sting more than your actions; which isn't saying much, eh?"

(HERE PUT ON THE SUNGLASSES BEFORE THE MOMENT PASSES)

"Do they? Then why, might I ask, did you remove my attack from yourself? Do you simply have something to prove to me?" The hands began stretching out and formed fists, and began spinning about at Shadowfall. The blood was still very hot, and bubbling in most places.

Will, Dark Will, and Violet step in front of Pops and Joseph.

"You'll have to get through me first, you scum!"

"And me, you prat."

"You'll have to disintegrate every atom of my body before you touch Pops!"

Dark Will forms a shield of fire around the group, Will a circle of light, and Violet forms a circle of lightning.

"I've faced worse than you! I went toe to toe with Them, and I survived! I've slain Maxwell the Great, as well as many of the worlds best warriors!"

Will draws his dagger, and inserts a green gem.

"It's been a long time since you've used the Sanity Daggers. Are you sure you're ready?"

"Hell yeah, I'm ready!"

Will pokes Dark Will with the dagger, and the gem glows a brilliant, green light. He activates the gem and the light shifts to around Will.

"Now let's finish this!"

"How valiant, but all of Them combined couldn't even keep me contained.  What do you really think you can do?"

The black smoke pouring from Shadowfall begins to swirl around the cliff in a massive vortex, sapping the group's strength and will.  The Effigy smashes his long, spiky tail onto the shields, shattering one and damaging the rest.

Violet's shield shatters, and she is flung backwards, landing beside Pops.

"Damn it, looks like I'm out. I'll just watch from the sidelines for a little while."

Will and Dark Will regain their balance. They look to each other, and nod. Will presses the the gem again, and the light is released into the two remaining shields. They are repaired to nearly full strength.

"Pops! Joseph! You've got to hurry! Dark Will and I will hold the shields up as long as we can!"

Will dips the dagger into the blood, and the gem begins to very slowly gain brightness. It will take a little while before it can repair the shields again.

"When I said you weren't to kill the humans, I mean't you aren't to kill the humans." The behemoth of blood was now refueled by Pops stabbing himself, and occasionally Joseph, with the osteotome. With a loud roar, it flung two large orbs of blood at each rock, rapidly dissolving through and making its way to Shadowfall's arm.

"Of course they can." The pool that the Behemoth had emerged from moved quickly and smoothly towards the fire, having the Behemoth himself, intercepting the flames. The heat caused the blood to slowly evaporate, becoming a dark red fog. This cloud raced towards Shadowfall.

Shadowfall incinerates the fog, causing it to explode to nothing.  He then begins sending everything he has at the group.  Both the shields shatter after a third hit, sending their casters flying like rag dolls.  He prepares to eviscerate Pops and Joseph.

"See?  It is hopeless.  Your most powerful strikes cannot harm me.  You cannot run.  You cannot hide.  Just give up, fools."

Pops groaned, then looked up at Shadowfall defiantly. "We've come a bit too far for that."

Meanwhile, Joseph was face down in the ground, quivering with fear and just about ready to die.

The Behemoth placed itself between Shadowfall and the group, hardening the front of its body to act as some sort of armor.
