(purple is hound speak, blue is her thoughts. she speaks hound, and can't speak English or whatever.) 'Oh, I think I slept in too late... uh...' She looks around before getting up and stretching. She wonders if winter will stay longer this year, unaware of the ice age. 'I couldn't have been asleep too long, the snow is still soft.'
