Map pins/flags?

I was wondering if anybody else would consider useful having the option to add certain "reminder" on some specific areas around the map (little flags, symbols etc.). What I do is build science machines in order to remember particular areas, which turns out to be pretty uncomfortable most of time.

Am I the only one that would appreciate this easy-to-make/very handy add??

Placing signs in the world has been suggested, the bonus being that they would show up on the map and in the world.

Instead of using science machines, you might use fire pits. They use less resources and show up on the map.

I agree though, signs/flags would be awesome.

Craft pins, place them on the map.

Each pin is 5 gold lumps

I use firepits, but I don't really mark the map that often…
