Jack awakens to the roar. "Agreed. We should make some defenses. Also gather some food. We can't rely on the fickle nature of gobblers to feed us." Jack starts sketching in the dirt, making a crude drawing of their encampment.

One of Silfen's ears twitches when she hears the roar. "Perhaps I should scout the territory, maybe I'll manage to catch a glimpse of what made that sound." She jumps into the air and soars off, above the tree tops.

Jack begins picking apart the wreckage for parts. It found a propeller which it proceeded to break apart. Taking bits of flint, it sharpened the metal fragments into crude knives. Jack handed them out. "Forget hay walls. Shelter yourself amongst the wreckage."

Jack grunts in discomfort as John jumps into its bulb. It didn't have time to voice its anger as the hounds attacked. One came towards Jack but it stabbed the roof of its mouth with its knife. Tossing the corpse aside, it prepared for the next one. "Come on, you blighters. Come on."

Silfen jumps on the back of one of the dogs and starts to claw at its face. The hound manages to throw her of its back and positions itself for a counterattack, despite blood nearly covering all of its forehead and eyes.
